How does the pricing work?
EventGeek's pricing is based on the number of events your company actively manages during the subscription period (past events are free!) and the number of event managers and staffers on your team. What is the difference between an Event Manager and an Event Staffer?
Event Managers have full access to create, update and delete events, whereas Event Staff have more limited access, especially to viewing budgets. The Event Staff role is a great fit for field sales reps, agency staff and vendors who help with setup on-site or talk to customers. You can also publish or export Event Calendars, Briefings, Budgets & ROI Reports, so many of your collaborators don't even need to have an account on EventGeek. Why do you charge per event, instead of charging for all users?
Per user pricing works well for a lot of software-as-a-service (SaaS), but events are different. Events require coordinating many more people, resources and schedules than digital projects. CRM and digital project management tools are great for sending email campaigns and building websites, but fall short when trying to coordinate staff, service providers and resources for in-person, site-specific events and meetings. Per user pricing doesn't really fit into this unique set of requirements, so we have a hybrid pricing model instead.
Is there a free trial?
Yes, there is! The 7 day free trial is available to qualified customers and comes with optional help setting up your account. Our success team can import your event spreadsheets and docs, so that your account is ready-to-go from the moment you first sign in. If we sign up for multiple years, is there a discount?
Yes, we offer a 10% discount off every year of multiyear subscriptions, when paid upfront. So you can take 20% off the combined total of a 2-year subscription and 30% off the total of a 3-year subscription.
Do I need to prepare my files for import?
You can send us whatever you have in its current format, including event spreadsheets, calendars, budgets, checklists, schedules, playbooks, etc. Our Success team will import them into your trial account at no charge. Our team can also walk you through the setup on an onboarding call. Imports can be undone at any time if you wish to restart with a clean slate.
Can we upgrade or downgrade at any time?
Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade to a different subscription tier or annual/monthly term at any time. The change in your subscription will take place at the end of the current period.
